If a person puts poison Tylenol in containers, they are liable, so is the company and all companies know they need to take immediate and swift action. If a company jeopordizes car safety in a set of tires then they lose their franchise, they lose their contract, no matter who they are in bed with. At Ford Firestone was out eventhough one of the heirs was married to a member of the Ford Family. Dynasties come second. Service comes first. We expect our business community to perform. The government cannot supervise it's own employees, cannot screen for fire pyromanicas and therefore the foresty budget alrady in shambles just spent a decade of budget in one stupid act. A person in charge of stopping campfires sets the largest fire in the histopry of Colorado? What? No the head of the dpartment did not start it but failure to supervise is cause for dismissal. The entire department needs to be shut down. Send it out to bid, let free enterprise manage the forests. Let the friggin Sierra Club do it. Let them manage the parks, then they can sue themselves ha ha ha. A company gets shut down when it screws up. So should this agency. We in our voters money entrusted the government and they hired psychopaths or lose nut cases. How many trees, animals, and homes were lost? How many. We are in the worst fire season in NM, CO, AZ and CA in 100 years and we have this occur? Wait a minute no more double standards. Not for the Catholic Church, International Terrorists and not for the Foresty People. Peoples lives were ruined because we are told someone had a bad day? Maniac Depressant, forgot their Prozak or lithium? Wait one second. We at the WashGuys go out of our way to help people and we ar attacked by our own FTC after we develop ways to help consumers like this web site; http://www.franchising.org and we help the USDAFS by helping design plans; http://www.carwashguys.com/051402_1.shtml . If someone at Boeing put in a bad bolt because someone's wife yelled at him that day they would lose the contract for building jets for that government agency or airline. If a foresty person does that then, it is not to be a reflection on the department? Then exactly who is it a reflection on? The girls boyfriend, her psychiatrist, the makers of Prozac, the squirls, Smokey the Bear, who? Are we to blame satan for this behavior for all the lives shattered. And, oh golly gee, she did the right thing she tried to put it out? What? With a shovel? Did she call anyone or did she wait for a few minutes? HMMM? The USDA Foresty Service called me last year to build units to clean the bottoms of trucks for the noxious weed program. had they actually bought them their would have been a pressure washer with 100 gallons of water on that truck and the fire could have been put out in it's early stages. but of course the procurement people in their infanite wisdom passed the information to their superviosr for review. Gee Whiz? The worst fire season in 100 years and they did not get their shit together, well then who needs them, turn the job over to an entrepreneur, someone who can cut the BS. On CSPAN this weekend I saw the re-runs of the Forestry Senate Sub committee meeting and the director said that his workers were wooried about lawsuits and threats of lawsuits that came in. So they did things slower than usual. Usually these lawsuit threats came oin from the Sierra Club. Yet I do not feel that doing the right thing for the right reasons is suable and niether did the seator committee. This is nuts. Pyromaniacs working as forestry people, destroying wildlife and homes and then using some BS statement about buring a love letter? And coming forwrd six days after the event? Hmmmm? let me think about that one for a seocnd. We try to save our budget and hire crazies and then wipe out a decade of funds in one fire we could have used to upgrade the forestry service. Any comments from the peanut gallery. Governor Owens maybe being nice on TV, but I don't have too. He maybe a great governor and say the right things to promote the psoitive attitude amongst the Dept and the people, but I don't. He maybe right that, the best play is to down play. But I can't. Damit, if that were a business which did that their stock would have went from $60 to $1.00 in one day. Why is nobody inb this entire country taking responsibilkity for their actions, every agency hide behind the burned brush? Who is worse International Terrorists of ourselves? It appears by my count so far they are about even. Incompetence is overwhelming and the natives are getting restless and the media is having a field day, and god I need a friggin vacation. I wonder what will be next? What stupid thing will someone do next. What dumb thing will a government worker or regulator do? Terrorsists are predictable but incompetence can occur anywhere. We have been studying this fire problem for a year now. http://www.carwashguys.com/fireseason.shtml ----- This is all known data, why can't we be smarter than this? The Malibu Fires in 1993 were also Arson Set by firefighters. At one time near after wards there were 7 fires large ones all going on at the same time. We ar onluy in June people, we need to be aware of things and look out for one another, because those looking out for us now are so friggin incompetent it is not even funny. Time for Americans to start looking out for our selves. We are not safe anymore, we need to stand up to the plate and answer the call. Start a neighborhood watch in your town or if you live near a forestry area, start your own Arson Watch program and watch for those who claim to protect you too. http://www.carwashguys.com/arsonwatch.pdf ---- This has been a cometary by Lance Winslow and thanks for listening.
